If you are looking for free camping and prefer Washington or Oregon wilderness to Wal-Mart parking lots, Ray's Guides are the books for you! One Guide for Washington State and another for Oregon State list no-fee, no reservation campgrounds. Remote, secluded and close to nature, they are perfect for campers with tents, vans, camper shells, and small trailers who love fishing quiet lakes and hiking halfway to heaven, and who know that "free spirit" has nothing to do with money. Many of the campgrounds are near trailheads for hikers or horseback trail riders. Some of the sites are accessible to RVs, but most are not. However, many are handicapped accessible, some with special facilities. Another camping season come and gone. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have visited the website and all that have purchased campgrounds books this year. And to the campers that sent in changes and locations of new sites, you are doing us all a great service. This is not only a big help to me but you are also helping your fellow campers find what I hope are the perfect campsites.
